No 36 - Rethinking Success: How I’m Growing a Heart-Led Creative Business Without Algorithms

Building a creative business without social media feels like swimming against the current these days. The world tells us to post more, share more, be everywhere all at once. But what if there’s another way? What if growth doesn't have to feel frantic or forced, but instead, like a natural extension of creativity and connection?

As a feminine-led, heart-centred solopreneur, medicine guide and artist, I've chosen to grow my creative business outside the noise of social media. It’s not about rejecting technology or visibility but about honouring the rhythm of creativity itself - organic, unhurried and deeply authentic. My work, whether through art, writing, coaching, or design, is rooted in presence.

And that same presence guides how I share it with the world.

Creativity is a medicine, like meditation it's a practice and isn't something we do; it's a way of being. Creativity isn't a skill reserved for a select few; it's a language we all speak, a birthright waiting to be reclaimed.

This belief sits at the core of everything I offer: art classes that invite people to play and explore, writing resources that spark new ideas and coaching sessions that hold space for creative self-discovery. The process of creating is inherently human, and so is the process of growing a business. Both flourish through genuine connection, curiosity and trust.

Instead of algorithms, I lean into authentic conversations. I trust word-of-mouth, intimate gatherings and the magnetic pull of meaningful work. My approach is simple: show up with integrity, create from the heart and offer resources that empower others to do the same. From free writing prompts to art classes steeped in curiosity, everything I share stems from the belief that creativity, like life, thrives when it's nurtured with intention.

And so, this business grows—slowly, naturally, and with deep-rooted purpose. Not through viral posts, but through the ripple effect of real connections. It grows every time someone finds the courage to pick up a pen, a brush, or a new idea, simply because they gave themselves permission to create.

This is more than a business; it's a practice of trust—in creativity, in connection and in the quiet magic of showing up, again and again, for what matters most.
